Island Adventures, Sandbanks and Reefs
From traditional dhow safaris and island day trips to snorkelling excursions and secluded sandbank picnics, each experience offers a unique perspective of the Bazaruto Archipelago National Park.
Excursions can be arranged through our team and are subject to weather conditions and availability. Most experiences depart in the morning and return later the same day, allowing guests to explore the islands before returning to the relaxed surroundings of Vilanculos Beach Lodge.
The protected waters of the archipelago are home to an exceptional variety of marine life, including turtles, dolphins, reef fish, seasonal whale sharks, humpback whales, and the rare dugong.
