Vilanculos (also Vilankulo) sits on the Mozambican coast in Inhambane Province, the mainland gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago.
Flights and airport transfers
Vilankulo Airport (VNX) connects daily through Maputo and Johannesburg (Airlink), with seasonal routes from Cape Town. The lodge is about 10 minutes from the airport.

Driving and visas
Self-drive is possible from South Africa via the EN1; the lodge can advise on routes and parking (free on-site). Most nationalities can use the e-visa portal (evisa.gov.mz) or visa-on-arrival; South African passport holders no longer need a visa for stays under 30 days.
